WSU 3D Object Model Database: University of Washington Models

The (currently) three models in this directory were created by Kari Pulli, a graduate student in the Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the University of Washington. These models were constructed from multiple range views.

Each object is described in two files:
bullet name.poly, a polygonal description of the object in Flynn's .poly format.
bullet name.wrl, a VRML version of the polygonal approximation to the object.
Here is a description of the .poly file format.

Since some of these files are large, they are gzipped.

Object Models

COUCH

couch.poly.gz (polyhedral approximation, 8884 polygonal facets).
couch.wrl.gz (VRML version of polyhedral approximation).

DOLL

doll.poly.gz (polyhedral approximation, 17421 polygonal facets)
doll.wrl.gz (VRML version of polyhedral approximation).

TEMPLE

Temple `object' (synthetic). This object is available in four resolutions:
bullet High resolution (203442 polygonal facets)
bullet High resolution VRML
bullet Medium resolution (496 polygonal facets)
bullet Medium resolution VRML
bullet Low resolution (188 polygonal facets)
bullet Low resolution VRML

The whole enchilada (three models, ten files). WARNING! This 5.7MB tarfile creates 22MB of files when unpacked.
