WSU 3D Object Model Database: NETLIB models

The 119 object models in this directory were obtained from the NETLIB scientific data repository (here is NETLIB, and here is the polyhedra data there). The archive includes many interesting shapes but no `industrial' objects.

Here is a description of the .poly file format.

Each object is described in two files:
bullet name.poly, a polygonal description of the object in Flynn's .poly format.
bullet name.wrl, a VRML version of the polygonal approximation to the object.
bullet name.neutral, a (readable) description of the surfaces comprising the model.
